Aletha Mae Whiteman

WELLSVILLE - Aletha Mae Whiteman, 97, formerly of Wellsville, died Sunday, August 4, 2013, at Parkside Health Care Center in Columbiana.

She was born May 30, 1916, in Wellsville, and raised by her parents, the late Harry and Nina (Mountford) Clark.

Aletha was a 1934 graduate of Wellsville High School and retired from the Spray Department after 30 years at Sterling China.

She will be sadly missed by her daughters: Sue Ellen (Dave) Orr of Wellsville and Linda (Ralph) Williams of Salem; her granddaughters: Janice Gartland of Lisbon, Traci (Brian) Tolentino of South Park, PA. and Michelle (Robert) Weible of Colorado Springs, CO.; and her two great grandchildren: Amber Tolentino and Joshua Tolentino both of South Park, PA.

Aletha was preceded in death by a brother Kenneth Clark.

There will be no calling hours. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery with a private family service to follow.

The Roberts Funeral Home, Wellsville, is in charge of arrangements.
