EAST LIVERPOOL - Alice M. Weldon, 96, of East Liverpool, died Tuesday, September 7, 2010, at Calcutta Health Care Center.

She was born May 14, 1914, in Wellsville, the daughter of the late Harry and Elizabeth (Molyneaux) Frontz.

Alice graduated from Wellsville High School in 1932. She was a homemaker and a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was the oldest living member of the First Christian Church of Wellsville, where she was also a Sunday School teacher. Alice was a member of the Beaver Local Homemakers Extension, the Eastern Star, and the First Church of Christ quilters' club.

Alice was preceded in death on August 19, 1988 by her husband, Archie F. Weldon, whom she married November 22, 1936.

Survivors include one daughter: Beth Ann Leipper of East Liverpool; one brother: Robert Lee (Pearl) Frontz of Sebring, OH; two granddaughters: Susan Elizabeth Leipper Fritch of East Liverpool, and Patricia Jane (David) Waldron of AZ; two grandsons: David Arch (Penny) Weldon and Douglas Edward Leipper, both of East Liverpool; two great-granddaughters: Kelsey Elizabeth Leipper of East Liverpool, and Sarah Elizabeth Waldron of AZ; two great-grandsons: Ryan Scott Railing and Johnithen Scott Fraser, both of East Liverpool; and one daughter-in-law: Shirley Weldon of AZ. Also surviving are many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Alice was preceded in death by one son: David Lee Weldon; one brother: Kenneth Frontz; one grandson: Mark Weldon; and one great-granddaughter: Emily Elizabeth Waldron.

The funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm Friday at the Roberts Funeral Home with Associate Pastor Alan Boone officiating.

Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.
