Amanda Jane Fishback

WELLSVILLE - Amanda Jane Fishback, 78, of Wellsville, passed away Thursday, January 17, 2019, at her daughter's home surrounded by her family.

She was born July 8, 1940, in Wellsville, the daughter of the late Walter and Grace (Straight) Patterson. In addition to her parents, Amanda was preceded in death in November of 1997 by her husband, Bert Fishback; two sisters: Patsy Moore and Pauline Liberatore; and two brothers: John and Gene Patterson.

Amanda graduated from Wellsville High School in 1959. She was employed as a nurse's aide and visiting nurse at East Liverpool City Hospital before retiring in 2005. She was a twenty-four year member of the Women of the Moose Chapter 642 where she had held the office of Senior Regent, Junior Graduate Regent, Secretary, and Chaplain. She also helped the East Liverpool Moose Lodge 122 with various functions throughout her membership.

Survivors include one daughter, Fawn Householder of Toronto; one son, Larry Miller and his companion, Donna Myers, of Hammondsville; and one brother, Edward Patterson and his wife, Cheryl, of Wellsville. Also surviving are four grandchildren: Chelsea Lawrence and her fiance, Jake Taylor, Levi Lawrence, Candy Miller, and Mandy Miller; and two great-grandchildren: Adalyn and Grayson.

The funeral service will be held at 6:00 pm Monday, January 21, 2019, at the Roberts Funeral Home with Pastor Kathy Thomas of Pine Grove Church officiating.

Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery.

Friends may call from 12:00-2:00 and 4:00-6:00 pm on Monday at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street in Wellsville.
