WELLSVILLE - Amy Lynn Ours Buchanan, 60, of Wellsville, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at her home.

She was born November 16, 1965, in East Liverpool, the daughter of the late Sue Ellen Waite and K. Roger Ours of Wellsville.

Amy graduated from Wellsville High School in 1984. She went on to obtain associate and bachelor degrees in Criminal Justice. She dedicated her time working in group homes with wayward youth and most recently worked at the Tobin Center. Amy was also a beloved bartender at Scotty's Bar where good times were had, and lots of memories were made. Amy loved thrift shopping at Goodwill and yard sales, always looking for the best deals and bargains. Above all else, she enjoyed spending time with her family and being a Grammy and Mimi to her grandkids. She was a member of Yellow Creek Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include her husband, John P. Buchanan, whom she married June 6, 1984; children: Brandi Sue Buchanan, Ian Tavish Buchanan, and Katie Scarlet Buchanan, all of East Liverpool; and siblings: Julie Tanner of Florida, Randy Ours of Pittsburgh, PA, and Jason Ours of Wellsville.  Also surviving are her cherished grandchildren: Charlotte and Brylee Earich and Orion Nagy; as well as her faithful canine companion, Snoopy.

The funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at the Roberts Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Blakeley of the Wellsville First Christian Church officiating.

Family and friends may visit from 12:00 - 3:00 pm on Sunday at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street in Wellsville.
