WELLSVILLE - Andrew Paul "Andy" Kuhar, 57, of Wellsville, died Tuesday, August 12, 2014, at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Boardman.

He was born February 19, 1957, in East Liverpool, the son of June (Rice) Kuhar of Highlandtown and the late Andrew Paul Kuhar.

Andy graduated from Southern Local High School in 1975. He was employed as a maintenance supervisor for American Beauty Landscaping where he had worked for the last five years. Andy was a member of the East Liverpool Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.

In addition to his mother, survivors include his wife and best friend, Dana (Champ) Kuhar, whom he married June 30, 1979; one daughter: Andrea Culp and her husband, Steve, of East Liverpool; one son: Andrew Kuhar of Boardman; one sister: Sharon Brush of Wellsville; and one brother: Greg Kuhar and his wife, Beth, of Highlandtown. Also surviving are his two grandchildren who were the center of his world: Emily and Riley Culp of East Liverpool; and three nieces and three nephews. Andy will always be remembered as a wonderful husband and father and as a devoted son.

In addition to his father, Andy was preceded in death by his grandparents: Dan and Maxine Rice.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, August 16, 2014, at Roberts Funeral Home with Richard Fry officiating.

Friends may call from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 pm Friday at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street in Wellsville.
