WELLSVILLE - Angelo P. Luckino, Jr., 76, of Wellsville, entered eternal rest on Saturday, January 31, 2026. He was born at home on 12th Street in Wellsville on July 7, 1949, to the late Martha Brandonisio Luckino and Angelo P. Luckino, Sr. He was also preceded in death by his son, Angelo Michael Luckino, Sr.

Angelo was known for his ornery spirit and his ability to bring a smile to everyone he met. He never encountered a stranger - if he knew you, or even if he didn't, he had a nickname for you that would be happily called out no matter where he saw you. He was a perfectionist, jack-of-all-trades, and a master carpenter.

He started working on the Pennsylvania Railroad the day after he graduated high school at 17. Angelo went on to enjoy a long and dedicated career as a locomotive engineer, retiring after 43 years of service with Norfolk and Southern.

Angelo married the kindest, most selfless woman God could have placed in his life, Becky Jean "Beck" Osborne. Together they shared a beautiful life and would have celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary on March 27th of this year. Together, their love created two children: their son, Angelo Michael Luckino, Sr., and daughter, Gena Marie Luckino.

Left to cherish his memory are his grandchildren: Angelo Michael (Sydni Marie) Luckino, Jr., and Abigail Noelle Luckino, whom they raised as their own, and his other granddaughter, Angeline Marie Luckino, who also held a very special place in his heart. Blessed he was to have experienced being a great-grandfather to his two great-grandchildren, Lila and J.J. Luckino.

He will be dearly missed by his cousin and best friend, Bill (Cindy) Cunningham, along with sisters-in-law: Barbara Nightingale and Mary (Butch) DeLauder.

Angelo's legacy of kindness, hard work, humor, and devotion to family will live on in all who knew and loved him.

The Catholic Funeral Liturgy will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at Holy Trinity Parish, 235 W. 5th Street, East Liverpool, OH 43920 with Father Ray Thomas presiding.

Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery.

Family and friends may visit from 5:00 - 8:00 pm on Monday at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street in Wellsville.
