Anna Mae Prezzia

WELLSVILLE - Anna Mae Prezzia, 90, of Wellsville, passed away Thursday, February 4, 2016, at her son's home in Clinton, PA.

She was born June 10, 1925, in Midland, PA, the daughter of the late Caesar and Marie (Tonti) Colista. In addition to her parents, Anna was preceded in death on May 2, 1993, by her husband, Paul Dominic Prezzia, whom she married April 30, 1955. She was also preceded in death by her brothers: Francis and Dominic Colista.

Anna graduated from Midland High School in 1943 and from Garfield Business Institute in Beaver Falls with an Associate Degree. She was previously employed as an administrative assistant for the former Crucible Steel Mill. Anna enjoyed bowling in a women's league and taking aquatics classes at the YMCA. She was a member of the former Immaculate Conception Church where she also was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society. She also loved to spend time in her kitchen, cooking and baking for her family.

Survivors include three sons: Dr. Charles Paul Prezzia and his wife, Karen, of Clinton, PA, Paul Prezzia and his wife, Jill, of St. Clairsville, OH, and David Prezzia of Wellsville; one sister: Felicia Gibson of Industry, PA; and one brother: Caesar Colista of Dallas, TX. Also surviving are twelve grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A Catholic Funeral Liturgy will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, February 9, 2016, at the Holy Trinity Parish at St. Aloysius Church, 235 West Fifth Street in East Liverpool, with Rev. Stephen Wassie presiding.

Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 pm Monday at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street in Wellsville.
