WELLSVILLE - Anthony T. "Tony" D'Angelo, Jr., 75, of Wellsville, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 14, 2025, at East Liverpool City Hospital.

He was born April 24, 1949, in East Liverpool, the son of the late Anthony T. and Katherine (DiCello) D'Angelo, Sr. In addition to his parents, Tony was preceded in death by his sister, Sandra Kay "Sandy" D'Angelo.

Tony graduated from Wellsville High School in 1967 and from Kent State University in 1978. He was previously employed as an auditor for Columbiana County and the State of Ohio. He had also previously worked at Patterson Industries and Buckeye Water District. Tony was an avid golfer, and he ran the Best Ball League at both Cedar Hills and Turkana golf courses. He was a member of the former Immaculate Conception Church and had currently attended Wellsville First Christian Church.

Survivors include two step-daughters: Angel Hayes and Jamie Moore, both of West Virginia, as well as five grandchildren. Also surviving is a large extended family of cousins.

According to Tony's wishes, no services will be held. He will be buried in St. Elizabeth Cemetery with his parents and sister.

Roberts Funeral Home in Wellsville is entrusted with Tony's arrangements.

Tony's family would like to thank the wonderful staff at DCI in East Liverpool for the care and love they showed to him during his dialysis sessions. Tony considered everyone there a part of his family.
