WELLSVILLE - Barbara Lee Phillips Williams, 84, of Wellsville, passed away Thursday, January 9, 2025, at Calcutta Health Care Center.

She was born April 19, 1940, in East Liverpool, the daughter of the late Charlie and Essie (Smith) Phillips. In addition to her parents, Barb was preceded in death on May 7, 2017, by her husband, Jerald "Jerry" Williams, whom she married May 10, 1988. She was also preceded in death by all of her brothers and sisters.

Barb graduated from Wellsville High School in 1958. She was a beautician for her entire adult life, having owned Barb's Hair Salon in Wellsville until 2012. Barb was a saxophone player and proud member of the Wellsville Alumni Marching Band. She also loved all animals and advocated fiercely for them. She was a member of Wellsville First Christian Church.

Survivors include four children: Larry (Kim) Biddle of Osceola, IN, Donna Biddle and her companion, Dave, of East Liverpool, Cathy Chrisman and her companion, Dave, of North Port, FL, and Michael (Lara) Fraser of Wellsville; and eight grandchildren: Bill Craig III, Ashlee Berends, Jeremy Chrisman, Mandi Chrisman, Joseph Chrisman, Larry Biddle III, James Clark, and Garrett Welch. Also surviving are eight great-grandchildren: Tyson, Akina Moon, Aubrey, Hayes, Liam, Scarlett, Clementine, and Conley.

The funeral service will be held at 6:00 pm on Friday, January 17, 2025, at the Roberts Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Blakeley of the church officiating.

Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.

Family and friends may call from 2:00 - 6:00 pm on Friday at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street in Wellsville.
