Beulah Mae Hawk, age 86, of Wellsville, died Thursday, February 23, 2012, at Calcutta Health Care Center in East Liverpool. Beulah was born January 6, 1926 in Morehead, KY. She is the daughter of the late Sonny and Ethel (Eden) Johnson. She married Charles Robert Hawk, Sr., whom preceded her in death on February 6, 1976.

She was a loving mother and homemaker.

She is survived by two daughters: Carolyn Hoschar of Wellsville, and Kathy (John) Detchon of Salineville; and two sons: Charles Robert Hawk, Jr. of Salineville, and Danny (Charlotte) L. Hawk of Wellsville. Also surviving are three sisters: Sadie Gitschier of Wellsville, Emily Watson of Wellsville, and Aroni Grimm of Texas; seven grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Beulah was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Diana Hawk; her grandson, Terry Lee Hawk; her great-granddaughter, Sheena Marie Hoscher; and four sisters, and two brothers.

Private services were observed by the family. Burial was in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
