WELLSVILLE - Brenda Charlene Parrish, 53, of Wellsville, passed away Sunday, September 13, 2026, at East Liverpool City Hospital following a long battle with MS. She had resided at Calcutta Health Care Center for the last two years.

She was born March 10, 1973, in East Liverpool, the daughter of Debra (Russell) Nally of Kentucky and Kenny Nally of East Liverpool, and the late Albert Parrish.

Brenda graduated from Southern Local High School in 1991. She enjoyed fishing, napping, and watching television, but her greatest joy in life was her grandchildren. Brenda fought so hard for so long to be able to spend as much time with them as possible.

Survivors include her children: Michael Coil of East Liverpool, Jacob Kirby of Wellsville, Sara Kirby of Wellsville, Rene' Kirby of New Brighton, PA, and Frederick Kirby, Jr. of New Brighton, PA; and her sisters: Jennifer Burkett of Wellsville, Tracy Parrish of Florida, Cheryl Wright of East Liverpool, and Kimberlee Nally of East Liverpool. Also surviving are five grandchildren: Sophia Coil, Keiton Murphy-Kirby, Jaden Kirby, and Vanessa and Marilou Travis; as well as her previous husband, Fred Kirby, who remained her best friend, and his wife, Amanda.

Family and friends may visit from 6:00 - 8:00 pm on Sunday, September 20, 2026, at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street in Wellsville.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting contributions be made to Roberts Funeral Home to assist with her arrangements.
