Carl E. Farnsworth

WELLSVILLE - Carl E. Farnsworth, 74, of Wellsville, died Monday, April 13, 2015, at Lifeline Hospital in Wintersville.

He was born December 3, 1940, in East Liverpool, the son of the late Carl and Lettie (Stanley) Farnsworth.

Carl was preceded in death on October 14, 2006, by his wife, Linda R. (Adams) Farnsworth, whom he married December 3, 1960. He was also preceded in death by two sisters: Amanda Frederick and Carol Farnsworth.

Carl was employed for over sixty years in the maintenance department for Ohio Brass - Newell Porcelain. He was a member of the American Legion Post 70.

Survivors include three daughters: Lori Koontz of Wellsville, Lisa Moore of East Liverpool, and Shanna Hilditch and her husband, Charles Jr., of Wellsville; and one brother: Larry Farnsworth of Indiana. Also surviving are six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be celebrated at 6:00 pm Thursday, April 16, 2015, at the Roberts Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.
