Christopher Jacob "Jake" Walker

WELLSVILLE - Christopher Jacob Walker, 31, of Wellsville, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 5, 2017, at his home following a lifelong battle with spina bifida and hydrocephalus.

He was born October 10, 1986, in Pittsburgh, PA, the son of Susan Kay (Hughes) Walker, with whom he resided, and the late James Richard Walker. In addition to his father, Jake was preceded in death by his grandparents, one aunt, and three uncles.

Jake attended Robert Bycroft School for seven years and then was homeschooled for the rest of his education. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and a great fan of wrestling. Jake also loved country and religious music.

In addition to his mother, Jake is survived by one sister, Danielle Marie Freeman of Cuyahoga Falls, OH; and two brothers: James David Walker, who is currently serving in the U.S. Navy in Japan, and Mark Anthony Freeman of Salem. Also surviving are three aunts, five nieces, one nephew, and numerous cousins.

The funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm Wednesday, November 8, 2017, at the Roberts Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Dyer officiating.

Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call two hours prior to the service on Wednesday at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street in Wellsville.
