Clara E Russell

COLUMBIANA - Clara E Russell, 91, of Columbiana, formerly of East Liverpool, passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2018, at St. Mary's Alzheimers Center.

She was born October 26, 1927, in Port Homer, OH, the daughter of the late Clarence and Edith (Dillon) Martin. In addition to her parents, Clara was preceded in death on March 25, 1978, by her husband, Willard LeRoy Russell, whom she married September 5, 1953. She was also preceded in death by three sisters: Marjorie Hobbs, Mildred Martin, and Blanche Martin; and four brothers: Bob Martin, Carl Martin, Elmer "Wimp" Martin and Charles Martin.

Clara held several jobs in the area. She was a custodian and courier for First National Bank, a school custodian, and she worked at the former Sterling China Pottery. She attended Port Homer Community Church and Monroeville Assembly of God

Survivors include two daughters: Yvonne Favri and her husband, Dave, of Carrollton, OH, and Debby Nally and her husband, Ken, of East Liverpool; four brothers: Donald "Chip" Martin, James Martin, Jack Martin, and Floyd Martin; and two sisters: Della Hudson and Betty Johnson. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, December 1, 2018, at the Roberts Funeral Home with Pastor Dirk Hall of the Living Well Church officiating.

Burial will be in Sugar Grove Cemetery.

Friends may call two hours prior to the service on Saturday at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street in Wellsville.
