Connie Lou Moore

WELLSVILLE - Connie Lou Moore, 71, of Wellsville, passed away surrounded by her family on Thursday, March 10, 2022, at Hospice House in Poland.

She was born June 24, 1950, in Wellsville, the daughter of Loretta Mae (Starkey) and Charles David, Sr. She was preceded in death by her father on February 28, 1989, and her mother, on February 27, 2014. Her brother, Charles David, Jr., also preceded her in death on September 3, 1968.

Connie was a homemaker and a loving and caring mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and playing Bingo. Connie found much joy in presenting her award-winning roses at the Pottery Festival. She was Christian by faith and attended the Living Well Church.

She is survived by her only son, John Moore (Christy) of Wellsville, and one granddaughter, Johnna Moore. Also surviving are three brothers: Mike David (Susan), Leonard David, and Jimmy David; and one sister, Lori Wooten (Ted), along with many nieces and nephews. Her lifelong best friend, Cindy Roe, and her precious dog, Missy Lou, whom she adored, also survive.

The funeral service will be held at 6:00 pm on Monday, March 14, 2022, at the Roberts Funeral Home with Pastor Dirk Hall of the church officiating.

Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.
