Daniel J. Steffen

WELLSVILLE - Daniel J. Steffen, 60, of Wellsville, passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2017, at Salem Regional Medical Center following a brief battle with cancer.

He was born October 27, 1956, in East Liverpool, the son of the late Jean (Moor) Steffen and Earl Steffen of Sebring.

Dan graduated from Wellsville High School in 1975. He was employed for over thirty years as the college bookstore sales advisor for the former WC Bunting Company. Dan was known as a world traveler and enjoyed the sights of the different parts of the world that he was able to visit.

Survivors include three sisters: Kelly Crews and her husband, Tim, of Alliance, Laurie Watkins and her husband, Scott, of Wellsville, and Peggy Ciccarelli and her husband, Anthony, of North Canton; and one brother, Robert Steffen and his wife, Merabeth, of Rogers.

A memorial service will be held at 5:00 pm Sunday, February 26, 2017, at the Roberts Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Blakeley of Wellsville First Christian Church officiating.

Friends may call two hours prior to the service on Sunday at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street in Wellsville.
