Danny L. Dye, Sr., age 40, of Wellsville, died Saturday, December 24, 2011 at East Liverpool City Hospital in the ER after a sudden illness. Danny was born November 10, 1971 in East Liverpool, OH. He is the son of David Ring and Dalinda (Clutter) Dye.

He was employed by Quality Liquid Feed as a Truck Driver.

He is survived by one daughter: Renee C.M. Dye and two sons: Danny Lee Dye, Jr. and Jason Allan Dye all of Wellsville. Brother of two sisters: Amy Dye Davis and Christy Dye, both of Irondale, OH; two brothers: Thomas Dye and Jimi Collins, both of Savannah, GA.; 3 stepchildren: Sanna Surace of East Liverpool, OH; Chelsea Elliott of Wellsville, OH; and Chad Elliott of Wellsville, OH; one Step Grandson, Giovanni Surace of East Liverpool, also survives.

He was preceded in death by his father who raised him, Allen F. Dye.

The funeral was held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street, Wellsville, OH with Pastor Kenneth Maylone officiating. His final resting place (at his request) will be in Irondale at the Big Rock, at the convenience of the family.

Calling hours were observed on Tuesday, December 27 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Roberts Funeral Home in Wellsville, OH.
