David M. Frye

EAST LIVERPOOL - David M. Frye, 89, of East Liverpool, passed away Monday, April 20, 2020, at his home.

He was born October 16, 1930, in Girard, OH, the son of the late Everett and Mabel (Marshall) Frye. In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by three sisters: Evelyn Slimmer, Charlotte Lopushanski, and Gladys Vosvello; and three brothers: William, James, and Howard Frye.

David had been employed as a kiln fireman for Homer Laughlin China Company. He was a member of Madison Trinity Church.

Survivors include his wife, Juanita (Montgomery) Frye, whom he married July 7, 2004; two daughters: JoAnne Anderson and her husband, Michael, of Lisbon, and Dianne Simpson and her husband, Tom, of East Liverpool; and one son, Pastor David E. Frye and his wife, Jennifer, of Leetonia. Also surviving are two sisters: Marjorie Gibbs of Baytown, TX and JoAnne Merril of Girard, OH; and two granddaughters: Yavonna Nowak of East Liverpool and Brooke Frye of Leetonia.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a private family service will be held at the Roberts Funeral Home in Wellsville with David's son, Pastor David E. Frye, of the church officiating.

Burial will be in Crest Haven Memorial Gardens.
