David P. Horner

EAST LIVERPOOL - David P. Horner, 62, of East Liverpool, died Friday, March 28, 2014, at home following an apparent heart attack.

He was born January 9, 1952, in East Liverpool, the son of the late Joseph E. and Eileen (Kirkbride) Horner.

David graduated from East Liverpool High School in 1970 and was a machinist for Bellofram Manufacturing in Chester, WV. He was a member of the Teamsters Union.

Survivors include two daughters: Jenny and Rachael; three sons: Jacob Horner and Joshua Horner, both of East Liverpool, and David Eric Horner; one sister: Sharon Smith of Calcutta; two brothers: James Horner of Calcutta and Butch Horner of Hanoverton; and his fiancée: Rita David, at home. Also surviving are four grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by two brothers.

Private family funeral services were held at the Roberts Funeral Home with Pastor Dirk Hall of the Living Well Church officiating.

The Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street in Wellsville was entrusted with David's arrangements.
