WELLSVILLE - David William "Dave" Lloyd, 75, of Wellsville, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh.

He was born September 29, 1950, in East Liverpool, the son of the late Louise (Jackson) and Robert C. Lloyd, Sr. In addition to his parents, Dave was preceded in death by his brother, Robert C. Lloyd, Jr.

Dave graduated from Wellsville High School in 1968. He was previously employed as the Fire Chief for Wellsville Fire Department where he unselfishly dedicated many years of his life. After his retirement, Dave continued his service to his community by working as a dispatcher for the former Tri-County Ambulance Service. He was a member of the Wellsville Masonic Lodge 180 F&AM, and he was Christian by faith.

Survivors include his wife, Antoinette "Toni" (Martin) Lloyd, whom he married in June 1974; one son, David C. (Brandi) Lloyd of Wellsville; and siblings: Peggy Ann Smith of Westerville, OH and John (Sharon) Lloyd of Wellsville. Also surviving are two grandchildren: his main squeeze, Everly Lloyd, and Ashton Lloyd.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, November 16, 2025, at the Roberts Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Stanley of Covenant Presbyterian Church officiating. A Masonic service will be held at 1:45 pm.

Family and friends may call from 12:00 - 2:00 pm on Sunday at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street in Wellsville.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that monetary donations be made in Dave's name to the Wellsville Fire Department, 1200 Main Street, Wellsville, OH  43968.
