ROCHESTER - Dawn Ella (Crowe) Johnson, 45, formerly of Hammondsville, died suddenly at her home in Rochester, NY, on Sunday, November 7, 2010.

She was born October 11, 1965, in East Liverpool, a daughter of Joan (Figley) Crowe of Hammondsville and the late Ralph Crowe.

A sister, Valerie Yost, also preceded her in death.

Dawn formerly worked as a groom at Mountaineer Race Track.

Besides her mother, survivors include two sons: Jacob Lee Johnson and Ben Johnson, both of Virginia, Minn.; one sister Christine Crawford and one brother Ralph A. Crowe, both of Hammondsville; and four grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 20th at 2:00 pm, at the Irondale United Methodist Church with Pastor Dan Crowe of the church officiating. Burial will be in Chestnut Grove Cemetery.

The Roberts Funeral Home, Wellsville, is in charge of arrangements.
