WELLSVILLE - Deborah Lynn Diequez, 70, of Wellsville, passed away Saturday, February 14, 2026, at East Liverpool City Hospital.

She was born November 20, 1955, in Steubenville, the daughter of the late Charles and Ruth (Daniel) Irvin. In addition to her parents, Debbie was preceded in death by two daughters: Lori Vankirk and Deborah Lynn Edwards; one granddaughter, Kiera Vankirk; and two brothers: George Irvin, Sr. and John Irvin.

Debbie graduated from Steubenville Big Red High School in 1974. She was previously employed as a manager at the former Elby's Big Boy in Calcutta and as a hostess at Bob Evans in Steubenville and Boardman before her retirement in 2018. Deborah enjoyed watching the Price is Right. She was Christian by faith.

Survivors include two sons: Edwin Lee Diequez, Jr. of Canton and CJ (Sara) Diequez of Wellsville; and five grandchildren: Matt, Mark, and Luke Vankirk, Ryder Diequez, and Sean Benner.

The funeral service will be held at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at the Roberts Funeral Home with Pastor George Irvin, Jr. of the LaBelle Christian Church in Steubenville officiating.

Family and friends may visit from 4:00 - 6:00 pm on Tuesday at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street in Wellsville.
