Dennis W. Valentine

WELLSVILLE - Dennis W. Valentine, 62, of Wellsville, passed away Saturday, September 19, 2020, at Salem North Nursing Home.

He was born March 11, 1958, in East Liverpool, Ohio, the son of Clara (Smith) Valentine of East Liverpool and the late Donald Valentine. In addition to his father, Dennis was preceded in death by his wife, Kathy (Snider) Valentine; his son, Douglas Valentine, and his brother, Ronald Valentine.

Dennis graduated from Wellsville High School in 1977. He had previously been employed at the former Newell Porcelain and Homer Laughlin China Company. Dennis was an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Minnesota Vikings.

Survivors include his daughter, Lacey Dotson and her husband, Shaun, of Wellsville; two sisters: Karen Jones and her husband, Tom, of East Liverpool, and Lori Elkins and her husband, John, of Wellsville. Also surviving are two grandchildren: Dakota and Austin Dotson; and his companion, Sandy Stepien.

Friends may call from 5:00 - 7:00 pm on Tuesday, September 22, 2020, at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street in Wellsville. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and to adhere to social distancing guidelines, the number of people in the funeral home at one time will be limited. Also, as mandated by Governor Mike DeWine, face masks are required to be worn while in the funeral home.
