WELLSVILLE - Donna Jean Wilson, 91, of Wellsville, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at East Liverpool City Hospital following a brief illness.

She was born July 28, 1932, in East Liverpool, the daughter of the late Granville Travers and Emma Clark. In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death on November 22, 2000, by her husband, Charles Alfred Wilson, Sr., whom she married in 1952. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, James and Frances Clark.

Donna graduated from Wellsville High School in 1951. She was employed as a supervisor at the former Sterling China Company and Wesco. Donna was an avid reader and enjoyed visiting the library frequently. She also loved to cook and share her recipes, and she loved to watch all of kinds of movies, but Westerns were her favorite. Donna devoted her time to the Wellsville First Baptist Church where she served as a deaconness and choir member, and was still volunteering her time at the food pantry at the age of 90. She also administered services for all baptisms held in the church.

Survivors include her children: Karen (Charles) Curless of El Paso, TX, Lynnie (John) Croxall of Brooksville, FL, Charlotte (Henry) Dorsey of Mays Landing, NJ, Charles Alfred Wilson, Jr. of East Liverpool, and Edward (Barb) Wilson of Wellsville. Also surviving are eleven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Donna's homegoing service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at the Wellsville First Baptist Church, 1401 Center Street, with Pastor Royland Petties officiating. Family and friends may call from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm on Saturday at the church.

Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery.
