Doreen Gay Myers

SALINEVILLE - Doreen Gay Myers, 62, of Salineville, passed away Saturday, January 26, 2019, at East Liverpool City Hospital.

She was born November 6, 1956, in East Liverpool, the daughter of the late Harold and Thelma (Jenkins) Myers. In addition to her parents, Doreen was preceded in death by one brother, Dale Pritchard.

Doreen graduated from Wellsville High School in 1975 and served in the United States Army from 1975-1977. She was employed for 23 years as an inspector for ATI before retiring in 2007. Doreen was a member of Union Local 1212, and she was a member of Grace Baptist Temple.

Survivors include two sons: Paul Barney and Christopher Barney, both of Salineville; two sisters: Debbie (Dale) Wynn of East Liverpool and Denise (Charles) Travers of Wellsville; and four brothers: Dwight (Sandy) Myers of Wellsville, Harold (Debbie) Myers of Wellsville, George Myers of Cuyahoga Falls, and Dwaine Myers of Wellsville. Also surviving are three grandchildren: Spencer, Ryley, and Gavin Barney. She will be sadly missed by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, February 1, 2019, at the Roberts Funeral Home with Pastor Joseph Johnson, Jr. of the New Freedom Missionary Baptist Church in Warren, OH, officiating.

Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.
