WELLSVILLE - Dorothy Pelley, 99, of Wellsville, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at her home.

She was born February 5, 1926, in Lisbon, the daughter of the late Lloyd and Alice (Robinson) Crowe. In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death on October 2, 2023, by her husband, Charles H. "Chuck" Pelley, whom she married September 28, 1945. She was also preceded in death by her brother, William Crowe.

Dorothy graduated from Lisbon High School. She was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother.

Survivors include four children: Charles H. (Sandy) Pelley, Jr. of Salem, David (Michelle) Pelley of Geneva, Jerri (Bill) Smith of Lisbon, and Terry Pelley of Wellsville, with whom Dorothy resided. Also surviving are eighteen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at the Roberts Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Blakeley of the Wellsville First Christian Church officiating.

Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery.

Family and friends may call one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street in Wellsville.
