Dorothy June Walko

WELLSVILLE - Dorothy June Walko, 69, of Wellsville, passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2021, at Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville.

She was born June 30, 1951, in East Liverpool, the daughter of the late William and Mollie (Hobbs) Erwin.

Dorothy graduated from East Liverpool High School and became a medical assistant through the Ohio Valley College of Technology. More than anything, Dorothy was a loving wife, mother, and sister, and she enjoyed taking care of her family as a homemaker. She was a member of the Wellsville First Christian Church.

Survivors include her husband, John Walko, whom she married July 20, 1974; one daughter, Jamie Ewing and her husband, Tyler, of Salem; one son, Matthew Walko of Wellsville; one sister, Jane Klimasauskas and her husband, Kasey, of Pennsylvania; and three brothers: Bill Irwin and his wife, Della, of Columbus, Tom Irwin of Indianapolis, IN, and Chuck Irwin of South Carolina.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a private family service was held at the Roberts Funeral Home in Wellsville with Pastor Mark Blakeley of the church officiating.
