WELLSVILLE - Elaine Faye Rearley, 72, of Wellsville, passed away Monday, October 9, 2023, at her home following a lengthy illness.

She was born March 30, 1951, in East Liverpool, the son of the late Thomas and Beverly (Blackburn) Buckel. In addition to her parents, Elaine was preceded in death on June 11, 2008, by her husband, Gary Lee Rearley, Sr., whom she married September 11, 1969. She was also preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

Elaine was employed in the janitorial department for Bellofram before her retirement.

Survivors include her children: Elaine Faye Rearley of Wellsville, Gary Lee Rearley, Jr. of Wellsville, Scott Allen Rearley of Wellsville, and Donny Jay Rearley of East Liverpool; and one sister, Annette Slaughter of Lisbon. Also surviving are six grandchildren: Daneen Rearley, Richard and Tyler Austin, Danny Plum, Miranda Martin, and Donny Rearley; and eight great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Thursday, October 12, 2023, at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street in Wellsville, with Pastor Mark Blakeley of Wellsville First Christian Church officiating. Family and friends may call two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.

Burial will follow in Chestnut Grove Cemetery.
