Evelyn Jean Dinch

WELLSVILLE - Evelyn Jean Dinch, 86, of Wellsville, died Thursday, November 6, 2014, at the Vista Center in Lisbon.

She was born August 11, 1928, in Wellsville, the daughter of the late Laird C. and Inez E. (Bolvin) Campbell.

Jean was preceded in death on September 23, 2014, by her husband, James B. Dinch, whom she married December 23, 1947.

Jean graduated from Wellsville High School in 1945. She had been employed as a cafeteria attendant for Fairview Elementary School and was a member of TOPS. Jean was also a member of the Yellow Creek Presbyterian Church and the Lamplighters.

Survivors include one daughter: Sharon "Sharry" Dinch of Atlanta, GA; one son: Jay Dinch and his wife, Diane, of Wellsville; one sister: Jo Ann Downard of Wellsville; one granddaughter: Jessica Dinch; and one grandson: Seth Dinch.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, November 8, 2014, at the Yellow Creek Presbyterian Church, 17365 State Route 45, Wellsville, with Pastor Bob Offerdahl of the church officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Jean's name to Crossroads Hospice of Northeast Ohio, 3743 Boettler Oak Drive Suite E, Uniontown, OH 44685.
