SALINEVILLE - Evelyn E. Smith, 75, formerly of Salineville, died Tuesday, September 21, 2010, at Essex of Salem Nursing Home.

She was born October 6, 1934, in Highlandtown, the daughter of the late Roy and Hazel (Bettis) Smith.

Evelyn graduated from Wellsville High School in 1954 and worked at the former Sterling China for 18 years. She was a member of the Highlandtown United Methodist Church.

Survivors include one brother: Donald P. Smith of Charlotte Harbor, Florida; and one niece: Joyce Gorrell of Wooster, Ohio.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, September 25th, at the Roberts Funeral Home, with Pastor Kenneth Maylone of the church officiating. Burial will follow in Highlandtown Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 pm Friday at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street in Wellsville.
