Fannie Sloan

WELLSVILLE - Fannie Sloan, 61, of Wellsville, passed away Sunday, July 1, 2018, at her home.

She was born June 11, 1957, in East Liverpool, the daughter of the late Walter William and Mae (Perry) Sloan. In addition to her parents, Fannie was preceded in death by her companion, Arnold Jones, Sr.; and one granddaughter, Constance-Marie Mae Sloan.

Fannie attended Wellsville High School. She was a homemaker and a loving mother, sister, and grandmother. She was a member of Lee's Chapel AME Church.

Survivors include one daughter: Shavonna Sloan of Wellsville; two sons: Jarrell Sloan and Shaun Sloan, both of Wellsville; one sister: Pierre "Peet" Jones and her husband, Terry, of Wellsville; and two brothers: Walter Sloan, Jr., and his wife, Kathy, of Wellsville, and Ronnie Johnson of Atlanta, GA. Also surviving are three grandchildren: Anika Thrasher, Tyrell Travers, and Candace Carosiello.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, July 6, 2018, at Lee's Chapel AME Church, 1325 Center Street in Wellsville, with Rev. Eddie Renfroe of the church officiating.

Friends may call from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm Friday at the church.
