F. Christine Crawford

HAMMONDSVILLE - Frances Christine Crawford, 52, of Hammondsville, OH, died Wednesday, March 21, 2012, at home following a sudden illness.

She was born May 3, 1959, in East Liverpool, the daughter of the late Ralph and Joan (Figley) Crowe.

Christy graduated from Stanton Local High School in 1977. She graduated as a licensed practical nurse in Carrollton, Ohio, from the Boyce Campus of the Allegheny County Community College as a registered nurse, and then worked for the Indiana Regional Medical Center in Pennsylvania for eighteen years.

Survivors include her husband, Richard Crawford, whom she married March 3, 2008; one son: Justin Williamson and his wife Kerri of Indianapolis, IN; one brother: Ralph A. Crowe Jr. of Hammondsville;

one step-daughter: Amy D. Crawford of Crafton, Pa; and one stepson: Richard Brian Crawford and his wife Amber of Irondale.

In addition to her parents, Christy was preceded in death on July 5, 1999, by her second husband, Jeff Crawford; two sisters: Valerie Yost and Dawn Johnson; and three nephews: Adam "Happy" Yost, Billy Yost, and Eric Crowe.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Monday, March 26, at the Roberts Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Crowe of the Hammondsville United Methodist Church officiating.

Burial will follow in Chestnut Grove Cemetery.
