Frank L. McElhaney, Sr.

EAST LIVERPOOL - Frank L. McElhaney, Sr., 68, of East Liverpool, died Sunday, June 22, 2014, at home following a brief illness.

He was born May 28, 1946, in East Liverpool, the son of the late David "Delmar" and Doris (Whittington) McElhaney.

Frank was previously employed as a packer for Kingwood Pottery in East Palestine. He was a member of the East Liverpool VFW, Moose Lodge 122, and Dave & Deb's.

Survivors include one daughter: Missy Plank of Morehead, KY; three sons: Frank McElhaney, Jr. and Allen McElhaney, both of Naples, FL, and Dewayne McElhaney of Morehead, KY; one step-son: Jerry Curtis of Morehead, KY; one sister: Linda Loy of East Liverpool; and one brother: David E. McElhaney of East Liverpool. Also surviving are ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his sister, Donna Cowdery.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, June 27, 2014, at the Roberts Funeral Home with his nephew, Pastor Kenny Cowdery, officiating.

Burial will follow in Columbiana County Memorial Park.
