WELLSVILLE - Fred Leon Mobley, Jr., 90, of Wellsville, passed away Saturday, August 22, 2026, at East Liverpool City Hospital.

He was born March 27, 1936, in East Liverpool, the son of the late Grace (Cochran) and Fred Mobley, Sr. In addition to his parents, Fred was preceded in death on December 25, 2021, by his wife, Lois E. (Schlott) Mobley, whom he married April 1, 1955. He was also preceded in death by three children: Patrick Mobley, Jackie Long, and Kathy McCauley.

Fred held many jobs in his lifetime. He was previously employed at the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation and Palo Verde Nuclear Power Plant in Arizona, worked in brickyards and potteries, and most recently was a bartender at the former Wellsville VFW Post 5647. Fred also loved the outdoors and was an avid golfer, fisherman, and hunter. He was also a member of the Shriners.

Survivors include his children: Fred Mobley III of Wellsville, Ricky (Jeannie) Mobley of Texas, Michael Mobley of Florida, Timothy (Tina) Mobley of Indiana, Nancy Schier of Cincinnati, OH, Robin (Elton, Jr.) Street of Florida, Carla (Jay) Paulson of Arizona, Darlene (Mark) Mobley Herron of Florida, and Lorri Mobley of Wellsville; and three brothers: Willard, Dale, and Melvin Mobley. Fred also leaves behind 36 grandchildren, including special grandson, Atavion Lovett, 70+ great-grandchildren, and an amazing legacy of 130+ great-great-grandchildren and great-great-great-grandchildren, making six generations of Mobleys.

In honoring Fred's wishes, no services will be held.
