CHESTER - Freda Marie Williams, 80, of Chester, died Sunday, December 26, 2010, at home following a lengthy illness.

She was born February 23, 1930, in Newell, the daughter of the late Ernest O. and Alie B. (Bellville) Nally.

Freda worked as an aide at Fox Nursing Home in Chester and also at Nentwicks Convalescent Home in East Liverpool.

She was preceded in death on December 9, 1965 by her first husband, Guy Herman Wells, and by her second husband, Donald Arlen Williams on August 13, 1993.

Survivors include two daughters: Donna Bailey of Chester, and Cathy Ferrebee and her husband David of West Union, WV; seven sons: William E. Wells and his wife Rosie of Wellsville, David A. Wells and his wife Kathy of New Philadelphia, Lloyd "Larry" Wells of Chester, Russell W. Fiest and his wife Penny of East Liverpool, Roger L. Fiest and his wife Mary of New Cumberland, Donald M. Williams and his companion Cindy of Ravenna, and Fred A. Wells and his companion Mary of Midland, PA; one sister: Virginia Cornell of Frederickstown, OH; and one brother: John Nally of New Cumberland. Also surviving are twenty-five grandchildren, thirty-five great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

In addition to her parents and husbands, Freda was preceded in death by one daughter, Linda Lee Wells; and two brothers: Robert Nally and Donal Nally.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, December 29, 2010 in the chapel at Locust Hill Cemetery in Chester with Reverend Charles Taylor of the Friendship Gospel Tabernacle officiating.

Burial will follow in Locust Hill Cemetery.

The Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street in Wellsville are in charge of arrangements.
