Gary N. Frampton

IRONDALE - Gary N. Frampton, 79, of Irondale, passed away Sunday, August 9, 2015, at home.

He was born March 26, 1936, in Hammondsville, OH, the son of the late Kendall M. and Vera E. (Elliott) Frampton.

Gary was preceded in death on September 22, 2009, by his wife, Sondra L. Frampton, whom he married June 28, 1957.

He graduated from Irondale High School in 1954. Gary made his living in the pottery industry working at the former Sterling China Company and Pfaltzgraff before co-owning Cardinal Stoneware and Ohio Valley Stoneware.

Gary was an avid golfer. Before recently returning to Ohio, he resided for many years in San Juan Capistrano, CA, with his long-time companion, Donna Smith, who also preceded him in death.

Survivors include one daughter: Rhonda Sprowl of Irondale; two sons: Gary "Todd" Frampton and his wife, Amy, of Lisbon, and Kiplan Frampton and his wife, Michelle, of Hammondsville; and two sisters: Marjorie A. Frampton of East Liverpool and Diane Urich of Irondale. Also surviving are five grandchildren: Kara Cremonese, Seth Frampton, Ryan Sprowl, Laine Frampton, and Sydney Frampton; and two great-grandchildren: Killian and Kieran Cremonese.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, August 13, 2015, at the Roberts Funeral Home with Pastor Duane Hetzer officiating.

Burial will be in Hammondsville Cemetery.
