Geneva B. Wright

WELLSVILLE - Geneva B. Wright, 94, of Wellsville, passed away Thursday, January 25, 2018, at Calcutta Health Care Center.

She was born July 16, 1923, in Colliers, WV, the daughter of the late William Sheridan and Eulalia Tereasa (Mason) Board. In addition to her parents, Geneva was preceded in death on June 19, 1986, by her husband, Wesley H. Wright, whom she married August 28, 1948. She was also preceded in death by an infant son, Edward, and six brothers: George "Jake", Chester, William "Bill", Frank "Zeb", Harvey, and Leroy Board.

Geneva had been employed for fourteen years as a playground supervisor for the Wellsville School District before retiring in 1983.

Survivors include one daughter, Kathy LaClair and her companion, Tom Wright, of Wellsville; and one son, Wesley "Tim" Wright and his wife, Janice, of Wellsville. Also surviving are five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 pm Sunday, January 28, 2018, at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street in Wellsville.

Burial will be in Hammondsville Cemetery.
