George Thomas Billie

WELLSVILLE - George Thomas Billie, 73, of Wellsville, died Saturday, October 20, 2012, at East Liverpool City Hospital following a lengthy illness.

He was born December 30, 1938, on Calico Hill in Irondale, the son of the late George M. and Beulah B. (Eakin) Billie.

George served in Germany with the U. S. Army. He was a salesman for Intermills Systems. He also worked for the Billie Trucking and Excavating Company of Hammondsville.

Survivors include two sisters: Jan Wasko of Wellsville and Charlotte Chrissos of Columbus; and one brother: Tim Billie of Wellsville.

The funeral service will be held at 1:30 pm Monday, October 22, 2012, at the Roberts Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Ingole of the Whipping Post Ministries officiating.

Burial will follow in Chestnut Grove Cemetery. The Tri-State Veterans Burial Group will accord full military honors at the funeral home.

Friends may call from 1130 am until the time of the service on Monday at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street in Wellsville.
