George A. Taylor

HAMMONDSVILLE - George A. Taylor, 69, of Hammondsville, passed away Thursday, September 16, 2021, at his home following a hard-fought battle with Parkinson's Disease.

He was born June 15, 1952, in Elkton, Ohio, the son of the late George and Alice (Morris) Taylor. In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by one sister, Sandra Harper; and one brother, Joe Taylor.

George had been employed for over thirty years with Eljer Plumbingware in Salem and then with Alliance Casting. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his wife, Donna (Talbott) Taylor, whom he married November 2, 2001; one step-son, Rich Parsons and his wife, Nancy, of Hammondsville; one sister, Ellen Price and her husband, Norman, of Salem; and one brother, Gerald Taylor of East Liverpool. Also surviving are four step-grandchildren and eight step-great-grandchildren.

According to George's wishes, no services will be held.

Roberts Funeral Home in Wellsville is entrusted with his arrangements.
