Harry F. Taylor

LISBON - Harry F. Taylor, 93, of Lisbon, died Thursday, April 30, 2015, at home following a lengthy illness.

He was born September 7, 1921, in Maud, WV, the son of the late Harry E. and Ruth Jane (Bland) Taylor.

Harry was preceded in death on August 26, 2003, by his wife, Helen (Morris) Taylor.

Harry served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. He was a set-up man for the former Crucible Steel Mill before retiring in 1980. He was a former member of the Yellow Creek Grange and was Nazarene by faith.

Survivors include one daughter: Elizabeth "Libby" Taylor of Lisbon; and two sons: William Edward Taylor of Kokomo, IN, and Paul Andrew "Andy" Taylor of Lisbon. Also surviving are ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents and wife, Harry was preceded in death by his son: Harry Lee "Butch" Taylor; two sisters: Fern Meyers and Pansy Ice; and two brothers: Jess and Ralph Taylor.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Monday, May 4, 2015, at the Roberts Funeral Home with Pastor Dirk Hall of the Living Well Church officiating.

Burial will follow in Yellow Creek Cemetery.

Friends may call from 6:00-8:00 pm Sunday and from 11:00 am until the time of service on Monday at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street in Wellsville.
