WELLSVILLE - Heidi Yvonne Fluharty, 52, of Wellsville, passed away suddenly on Sunday, March 8, 2026, at East Liverpool City Hospital.

She was born July 6, 1973, in Youngstown, the daughter of Chuck and Rose (Farnsworth) Higgins of Wellsville.

Heidi graduated from Southern Local High School in 1991 and obtained her bachelor's degree in education from Kent State University and her master's degree in education from Mary Grove College. She was currently employed as a beloved teacher at Garfield Elementary School in the Wellsville Local School District, having taught kindergarten, second grade, and physical education.

In addition to her parents, survivors include her husband, Jeff Fluharty, whom she married September 16, 2000; three children: Jocelyn Fluharty, Roseiline (Tyler) Roe, and Jeffrey Fluharty, all of Wellsville; and two brothers: JR (Debbie) Higgins of Tallmadge, OH, and Steve Higgins of Medina, OH. Also surviving are three grandchildren: Addisyn Boyle, Hudson Reed, and Eliana Roe.

The funeral service will be held at 6:00 pm on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at the Roberts Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Rose of Northside Community Church officiating.

Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.

Family and friends may visit from 3:00 - 6:00 pm on Thursday at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street in Wellsville.
