Herlinda M. "Linda" Talbott

SALINEVILLE – On Thursday, July 30, 2015, the Lord gained another angel when Herlinda Talbott, 80, passed peacefully into the gates of Heaven.

She was born in Santa Rosa, New Mexico, on August 19, 1934, to Amelia and Felix Griego. She married Paul L. "Louie" Talbott on May 31, 1954, and they made their home in Highlandtown where they have lived since then.

She graduated from Santa Rosa High School and attended Highlandtown United Methodist Church.

A devoted wife and mother, she is survived by her husband, Louie, and three sons: Stymie and his five children: Trudy, Francisco, Casey Jo, Herlinda and Kalijha; Dan and Beth and their three children: Heather, Daniel "Bub" and Ryan; and Paul and his three children: Nancy Marie, Paul III and Yanaba. Also surviving are fourteen great-grandchildren. Linda is also survived by four sisters: Lydia Martinez, Ida Lopez, Clorie Gallagoes and Nancy Gonzales, all of Santa Rosa, NM.

Linda was preceded in death by her son, George Allen; two brothers: Arturo and Danny Griego of Santa Rosa, NM; and one sister: Gloria Griego, also of Santa Rosa, NM.

A memorial service will be held from 12:30-1:30 pm Sunday, August 9, 2015, at Highlandtown United Methodist Church, 18582 Steubenville-Pike Road, Salineville, OH 43945, with Pastor Kenneth Maylone officiating.

Roberts Funeral Home in Wellsville was entrusted with arrangements.
