SALINEVILLE - Iris Ann Tompkins, 82, of Salineville, passed away Friday, February 21, 2025, at Aultman Hospital in Alliance.

She was born December 14, 1942, in East Liverpool, the daughter of the late William and Maxine (Maloney) Cunningham. In addition to her parents, Iris was preceded in death on January 19, 2021, by her husband, Frank Lee Tompkins, Sr., whom she married October 29, 1961.

Iris graduated from Wellsville High School in 1960. When she married her husband, Frank, they owned and operated Frank's Restaurant in Chester. She was also a self-employed beautician for many years. Most importantly, Iris was a wonderful homemaker and a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.  She attended St. John's Church in Summitville.

Survivors include her children: Penny (Dr. Jack) Amato of Irondale and Frankie (Heather Boyle) Tompkins, Jr. of Lisbon; two brothers: Ron (Marci) Cunningham of Salem and Bill Cunningham, Jr. of East Liverpool; and four grandchildren: Krystal (Steve Mischka) Spickler of Woodridge, IL, Kyle (Paulina Contreras Alvarado) Spickler of Akron, Karleena Spickler of Austintown, and Bailey Tompkins of Salem.

The funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at the Roberts Funeral Home with Pastor Dirk Hall of the Living Well Church officiating.

Family and friends may call one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street in Wellsville.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in Iris's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at www.stjude.org.
