WELLSVILLE - Jack Eugene Wetzel, Jr., 48, of Wellsville, died peacefully at his home on Wednesday, October 27, 2010, where he had been under hospice care.

He was born May 8, 1962, in East Liverpool, a son of Joyce A. (Jackson) Wetzel, of Wellsville and the late Jack Wetzel, Sr., who just died on August 18, 2010.

Jack worked at Fresh Mark in Salem for the past 4 years and prior to that was a self employed carpenter. He was a 1981 graduate of Wellsville High School, a former member of the Wellsville VFW and Eagles club, and was Methodist by faith.

Besides his father, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Robert and Gertrude (Sines) Wetzel; his maternal grandparents: Harry and Wilma June Barnes, Sr., and Lawrence Jackson.

Survivors include two daughters: Shawna Marie Kelly and her husband Roger of Guilford Lake and Kristen Lynn Wetzel of Salem; his longtime companion: Audrey Treleven; two sisters: Crystal Gamble of Wellsville and Cynthia Boyce and her husband James of East Liverpool; one brother: Michael Wetzel and his wife Gerri of East Liverpool; one grandson: Rohan Alan Kelly of Guilford Lake; A special cousin: Phillip (Diane) Powell of Marietta, Georgia, also survives.

In honor of his wishes, no visitation or services will be observed. The Roberts Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
