James Kenneth "Jim" Kelley

EAST LIVERPOOL - James Kenneth "Jim" Kelley, 80, of East Liverpool, passed away Friday, March 22, 2019, at his home following a sudden illness.

He was born February 19, 1939, in East Liverpool, the son of the late Kenneth and Olive (Snediker) Kelley. In addition to his parents, Jim was also preceded in death by a beloved uncle, Edgar Davidson.

Jim graduated from Wellsville High School in 1957. He worked for the D.T. O'Hara Law Office following graduation. In 1960, Jim joined the U.S. Air Force and served until 1964. Following his time in the service, Jim returned to Wellsville and became the chief accountant for the W.C. Bunting Company until his retirement in 2009. Jim was a lifelong member of the Covenant Presbyterian Church, where he sang in the choir and was the financial officer until he retired this year. He loved to play the organ and was fundamental in organizing the Tri-State Organ Society.

Jim will be greatly missed by his Covenant Church family as well as his W.C. Bunting colleagues.

The funeral service will be held at 12:30 pm on Tuesday, March 26, 2019, at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street in Wellsville, with Pastor Rick Stanley of the church officiating.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.

Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery.
