James Michael "Jimbo" Saracco

WELLSVILLE - James Michael "Jimbo" Saracco, 59, of Wellsville, died Friday, November 22, 2013, at Valley Hospice Care Center at Trinity East.

He was born December 22, 1953, in Chester, WV, the son of James and Jean (Sprout) Saracco of Wellsville.

Jimbo graduated from Wellsville High School in 1971. He served in the United States Navy as a medic from 1972 to 1976. He was employed for thirty-four years as a heater for Titanium Metals of Toronto. Jimbo enjoyed gardening, and he loved his dog, Shango. He was a member of the former Immaculate Conception Parish.

Survivors include his wife, Judy (Graves) Saracco, whom he married June 29, 1985; two daughters: Stacie and Alyson Saracco, both of Wellsville; one sister: Tina Allmon of Wellsville; one brother: Steve Saracco and his wife, Heidi, of Wellsburg, WV; and one grandson: Mark Zacharias. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

A Catholic Burial Rite will be celebrated at 10:00 am Wednesday, November 27, 2013, at the Roberts Funeral Home with Father Eric Antwi of Sacred Heart Catholic Church officiating. Full military honors will be accorded by the Tri-State Burial Group.

Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery.
