LISBON - Janet O. Carroll, 89, of Lisbon, passed away suddenly on Sunday, April 5, 2026, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh.

She was born February 3, 1937, in Wellsville, the daughter of the late William Edward and Helen Olive (Wallace) Smith. In addition to her parents, Janet was preceded in death by her brother, William W. Smith.

Janet was previously employed as a cook for Hoge's Restaurant. She enjoyed being outside and tending to her garden. She was a member of Oak Ridge Church and attended Westminster Presbyterian Church in Boardman.

Survivors include her children: Randall Carroll of Wellsville, Ivy Hennon of Boardman, and Christa (Kevin) McIntosh of Wellsville. Also surviving are six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

According to Janet's wishes, a private family service was held.

Burial was in Oak Ridge Cemetery.

Roberts Funeral Home in Wellsville assisted the family with arrangements.
