Janet M. Klavuhn

WELLSVILLE - Janet M. Klavuhn, 75, of Wellsville, passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2017, at Good Samaritan Hospice in Beaver, PA.

She was born February 2, 1942, in Mudfort, WV, the daughter of the late Clarence and Ardelia (Starcher) Coen. In addition to her parents, Janet was preceded in death by one sister, Gin Cheverant; one brother, Chuck Coen; and one granddaughter, Amanda Faulkner.

Janet graduated from East Liverpool High School in 1960. She was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. In her spare time, Janet enjoyed working in her bridal shop making decorations and dresses for weddings. She also enjoyed cooking and traveling with her husband, Gus.

Survivors include her husband, Gus Klavuhn, whom she married June 30, 1960; one daughter: Cheri Graves and her husband, Steve, of North Port, FL; one son: Mark Klavuhn and his wife, Sharon, of Wellsville; and two brothers: Jim Coen of Columbus, OH and Paul Coen of South Carolina. Also surviving are five grandchildren: Rachel (Nate) Davis and Sara (CJ) Diequez, both of Wellsville, and William, Kristina, and Brittney Faulkner, all of Florida; and three great-grandchildren: Landon Lilly and Brock and Drake Davis.

Private family services were held at Roberts Funeral Home in Wellsville.

Burial was in Calcutta United Presbyterian Cemetery.
