Jerome Herman Heiney, Jr., age 81, of East Liverpool, died Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at East Liverpool Convalescent of East Liverpool, OH. Jerome was born May 16, 1930 in East Liverpool, OH. He is the son of the late Jerome Herman and the late Gladys (Hendricks) Heiney I. He married Esther Lorranie Saxton on June 9, 1952, who died on July 28, 1974.

He served in the Army during the the Korean war and retired from Crucible as a Sheerman in 1982. Jerome was a member of First Christian Church of Wellsville, American Legion Post 70, and the VFW Post 5647.

He is survived by three sons: Charles Scott Heiney of Wellsville, OH, Jerome Herman Heiney III of Wellsville, OH, and Kevin Trent Heiney of Wellsville, OH; Brother of two sisters: Jean Bowden of Pompano Beach and Kay (John) Yanni of East Liverpool; and one brother: Mike Heiney of Columbiana, SC.

The funeral was held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, December 18, 2011 at Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street, Wellsville, OH with Pastor Mark Blakeley officiating. Burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery, Wellsville.
