Joanna M. Blaschak

EAST LIVERPOOL - Joanna M. Blaschak, 44, of East Liverpool, went home to the loving arms of God on Monday, March 16, 2020, with her loving family by her side after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born June 24, 1975, in Weirton, WV, the daughter of Kathy Leek of Newell, WV.

Joanna graduated from Oak Glen High School in 1994 and was employed as a cage manager for Mountaineer Racetrack and Gaming Resort. She was a member of the Living Well Church.

Survivors include her husband, soulmate, and best friend, Jerry Blaschak, whom she married September 20, 1997; two sons: Jonathan Reese and his wife, Kayla, of Wellsville, and Joshua Reese and his fiancee, Ally, of Wellsville; two sisters: Linda Biar of Arizona and Leslee (Joe) Camerlin of Wellsville; four granddaughters: Joslynn, Aurora, Juliana, and Emma; and two grandsons: Eli and Jaxton.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, March 19, 2020, at the Roberts Funeral Home with Pastor Dirk Hall of the church officiating.

Burial will be in Highlandtown Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2:00-6:00 pm on Wednesday at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street in Wellsville.
